When?
The festivities begin on Thursday evening, 1 July. The close of play is after lunch on Sunday, 4 July (Independence Day). If you can't make it for the whole Stroll, try to come for at least a day or two.Where?
The Stroll is based in Wells-next-the-Sea, in the middle of the North Norfolk Coast. You should try to stay in Wells. There are a number of hotels, lots of B+Bs, and a Youth Hostel. How to get to Wells
By car it's about a 2.5-3 hour drive from London.
By train and bus: You won't need a car for the Stroll. Once you are in Wells, you will only need are your feet and enough money for the local Coasthopper Bus (or your Freedom Pass, which allows you free travel on the Coasthopper).
To get to Wells by train and bus:
Take the train from King's Cross to King's Lynn (about 1 hour and 45 minutes)...
Take the bus from King's Lynn station to Wells (about 75 minutes).

Itinerary
We will walk on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday morning. If you don't want to walk all day, it's easy to break off and take the bus back to Wells. The walk is along the North Norfolk Coastal Path. The terrain is mostly flat, with a few hillocks and some areas of sand.

Thursday
Meet for dinner at about 8 pm at The Globe Inn, Wells. Friday
After breakfast, take the Coasthopper from Wells to Cley next the Sea.
The morning walk is from Cley to Morston (4.1 miles). Lunch at the Anchor Inn, Morston (or a picnic).
After lunch, walk from Morston to Wells (6 miles).
Dinner: Fish and chips and champagne, overlooking Wells Harbour.
Saturday
After breakfast, walk from Wells to Burnham Overy Staithe (6.6 miles), passing through Holkham beach.
Lunch at The Hero (or a picnic).
After lunch, walk to Brancaster Staithe (4 miles). Arrive in time for a drink at the lovely White Horse, overlooking the sea.
Take the bus back to Wells to prepare for dinner.
Dinner at The Crown Hotel, Wells.
Sunday
After breakfast, take the bus (or drive, if you have a car), from Wells to Holme-next-the-Sea. Walk to Thornham (3.3 miles), for lunch at the Lifeboat Inn.
After lunch, walk (or drive) home.
